Cross Country

Madison Acosta and Haeley Pines competed in the Region 2 14-5A state meet this past weekend in Round Rock, TX. The coaches are very proud of all of their accomplishments this year and the hard work they put into training to get to state. Way to go cougars!



Cadets from the TCHS JROTC Program competed in the North Texas Orienteering Association Meet in Pottsboro, TX, on Saturday.

Today is the last day to sign-up for the free A-S-V-A-B (pronounced “AS” – “VAB”) Career Explorations Program being conducted tomorrow, Tuesday, November 7, at TCHS. 


You may either register via the link to a Google doc contained in an email sent to your LISD student email account or in the Counseling Office.

All juniors and seniors taking the ASVAB, please report directly to Room A107 at 8:20 am tomorrow.   Please notify your 1st and 2nd Period teachers that you will miss class tomorrow.  The list of those taking the ASVAB will be submitted to the Attendance Office at the start of the test. 


Swimming 11/6-11/8

Calling all volunteers…The Swim Team is hosting their 30th Annual Cougar Classic on Saturday November 11th and they need 24 volunteers to time the swimmers 9:15am – 3:00pm.  Lunch will be provided.  If you can help out please e-mail Coach Peele.


Culinary Arts 11/2-11/10

Tickets for the Feast of Fools, Dinner & a Show on Friday, November the 10th at 5:30 pm can now be purchased online or from Chef Bensley in C102.

Rock and Brews will be providing salad, blackened chicken pasta, cheese toast, and chocolate cheesecake for $10 per person before the Hunchback performance at 7 pm. Please support the Arts at TC!


Basketball 10/30-11/8

Tryouts for the Boys Basketball team will be on Thursday November 9th and Friday November the 10th.  Tryouts will be at 7:15 am and then at 3:45 right after school on both Thursday and Friday.   You must have an athletic physical turned in prior to the Tryout date. If you have any questions please see Coach Ryan.
