EOC 4/3-4/6

English I and II STAAR tests are coming up on Tuesday and Thursday, April 10 and 12. Please check the lists in the commons, the upstairs J hall, and in front of the attendance office for your room assignments. Do not bring any electronics into your testing room. See Mrs. Eldredge in the counseling office if you have questions.


Seniors 4/4-4/6

Attention Seniors – If you ordered your cap and gown in the fall, they will be delivered during all lunches on Thursday 4/5 and Friday 4/6.  Jostens will be set up in the lobby of the PAC.  Please go by and pick up your order.  If you have not ordered your cap and gown you need to do so ASAP.  Visit or you may visit with one of the representatives during lunch.


Prom 4/5-4/6

Attention Junior and Seniors:

If you are taking a date that is not a TCHS student, the last day to submit the form is on April 6th. If a form is not on file, your date will not be allowed to enter the event. Please remember that there are no refunds for anyone! NO exceptions! Please submit your form by the April 6th deadline to either Mr. Anderson in room C103 or Mrs. Ballard in Room B119!






ESL 4/6-4/12

Are you an ESL student who would like to have fun this summer AND possibly earn credit for English III or English IV in only 3 weeks?!

There are 2 exciting opportunities happening this summer in LISD.  


  1. This summer, June 11-29, ESL students from all over LISD will join together to practice their English, create amazing projects, and have fun at SOAR. The theme this year is “Game On!” and students will have the opportunity to create games and share games from their culture. The best news? It’s absolutely FREE!


  1. ESL students who attend SOAR could also earn English III or English IV credit if they meet some requirements. Please see Mrs. Feagins in room K103, or the counselors’ office, for the requirement information and application forms.



AP Psych/AP Macroecon 4/5-4/10

AP Macroeconomics test tutorials will be held immediately after school on Wednesdays-beginning April 11th .   Study packets can be picked up at that time.   AP Psychology test tutorial will be held immediately after school on Thursdays – beginning April 12th.  Study packets can be picked up at that time.


Culinary 4/4-4/6

Culinary Arts acceptance letters will go out today. Please sign and return your letter by Friday, April 6th to Chef Bensley in C102 to reserve your space in the class.  If you have questions about your acceptance please see Chef Bensley.


Counseling 4/4-4/13

If you are interested in testing to earn credit for courses, particularly language, see Mr. Broom or Ms. Eldredge in the Counseling Office for the final Credit by Exam/Credit by Acceleration test day of the school year. Forms must be turned in by Friday, April 13 in order to test on Tuesday, April 17.


Prom 4/2-4/6

Attention students that are attending prom:  There will be a FREE prom dress event occurring this Saturday, April 7th from 11-2 at the First United Methodist Church in The Colony.  There will be dresses, shoes and jewelry for the ladies as well as some men’s suits shirts and ties all for Free..  There will also be a raffle for a free tuxedo rental.


AVID 3/20-4/11

Got talent? TCHS AVID is hosting a talent show. Open to teachers and students. If you like comedy, music, or have a flair for everything amazing: Audition on April 17th in J107. See Mrs. Andrews in J204 for more details.


Student Council 3/20-4/13

Attention TCHS: LEADERS WANTED!!. If you are a current Sophomore or Junior and would like to be a class officer, please pick up an application packet outside K108 or in the commons. Applications should be turned in to K108 no later than April 13.


Driver’s Ed 3/19-4/6

Signing up for the last driving session of the year starts March 7th. Spots are first come first served. Classroom starts April 25.
