Our Principal Tim Baxter has been a principal for 19 years, but that

is not how he started.

He was a teacher-coach for four years. His first three principals he worked for inspired him to leave the classroom and aim for being a principal.

He got good advice.  “If a fire is burning, put it out.” — cope with the problems instead of leaving them.

The other reason why he left the classroom, he felt like this would give him a chance to impact everyone as a group not only a single classroom.

A normal day for a assistant principal depends on the students’ behavior, and what goes on during the day.

His day is planned.  He can have 15 to 20 meetings a day, and it all depends

on what happens during the day.

The main responsibility for him is anything dealing with the

high school.

What he has found  interesting was adding the

Collegiate Academy, Multicultural Day and many more.

In his quiet times is his faith and being home. He enjoys going to theater plays and seeing what all students do is what he finds most rewarding…our accomplishments.
