Senior Jeremiah Segura, is ready to graduate and become a collage student. He will be majoring in biology and will attend Texas Tech University.

From freshman year of high school he began to think about his future. Starting high school was a major change for him, but he didn’t let anyone or anything get in his way. He started changing his ways of being organized, responsible, and being more careful with his actions. He wanted to make a change in himself for the sake of his future and his number one priority was to get into collage, so he decided to take some chances.

“High school is something that I felt I needed to take serious.”

Jeremiah challenged him self by taking AP classes as well as pre-AP. He would focus as much as he could in class and come home and study what ever he learned that day as well. Homework or not, he’s always doing something that involves school like studying, reading and writing. With all his hard classes, he needed to be somewhere quiet and with no distractions, so he would go the library. That is where he would get time to do all the things he wanted for school.

“Doing something that involves school and besides anything else has made a huge impact in my classes.”

Now being a senior he has accomplished  many things through out his high school years. Getting high grades in his classes has got him accepted to NJHS and that was a accomplishment for him because that’s something he was striving to get into. But one accomplishment only mattered to him which was his SAT score. Every single day until the big test he would constantly be in and out of the library rapidly getting as much study time he could possibly get. With him being as smart as he already is and getting extra knowledge made him get one of the highest SAT scores which got him accepted to five universities.

“The time and effort I put studying for that test was worth it. “
